· So you have a date in mind, the next step is to phone me to book your date and I will arrange to meet with you and to lodge the

“Notice of Intended Marriage” form (NIM) at least one month and one day before your wedding day.

· At this meeting I will need to sight your Birth Certificates, or current passport (if you were born overseas). Also, if either you or your fiancé were

previously married, please bring your Divorce Certificate or Death Certificate (if your spouse has died).

· Once the formalities have been taken care of, we can discuss some ideas and I will let you see a selection of formal and informal ceremonies,

including vows, readings, poetry or symbolic and cultural gestures.

· You may even like to consider a theme wedding to reflect your common beliefs and interests including beach, Medieval or fairy tale themes.

· There is also the “surprise element”, when your guests are in attendance to celebrate a different occasion such as special age birthday, festive

or New Year - only to find they are attending your wedding. Obviously all legal requirements and preparation are undertaken in accordance with

the Marriage Act 1961.

· If you have already booked your wedding at one of the many venues, or specialized wedding reception/resort - no problems, I can still marry you

there, because accordingly to law, it is your right to have the Celebrant of your choice, despite the fact that some venues will have you believe you

have to use their preferred suppliers.

· Also, you should know that my standard attire on your wedding day is a classic tailored black pantsuit, so that I do not clash with the bridal party.

Of course I have a range of other outfits, if deemed more appropriate for your wedding.

· My basic fees for weddings is a reasonable rate in consideration of time, travel, insurance, legal requirement, equipment, motor vehicle expenses,

office expenses, special marriage stationery, phone.

My wedding package basic fee of includes:

· Minimum of two meetings, including wedding rehearsal.

· Telephone and email consultations as required.

· Easy-to-follow samples of ceremonies and many choices of vows, rituals, readings and ring exchanges.

· Creation of a unique and personal wedding ceremony.

· PA system with CD player. All your guests will hear your ceremony clearly.

· Red carpet - for that exciting bridal entrance.

· Table, which is covered and a chair for signing documents.

· Presentation booklets (3) with your completed ceremony.

· All legal documentation, including registration of your marriage.

· Two certified copies of your Certificate of Marriage if ordered through me. (optional)

· Change of Name Kit.

· Relationship enhancement information for couples and families.

· My home is available for small weddings and referees available upon request.

Other considerations ……..

· Although I am based at Lake Macquarie I will go to all areas and locations including Hunter Valley, Newcastle, Central Coast, Northern Beaches, Sydney AND

I will travel inter and intra state, but I have my limits too (I don’t do risky activities such as Skydiving or swimming with sharks)

AND for those Naturalist Weddings - let’s talk about the dress code!

· I am professionally trained & authorised by Attorney General to marry anywhere in Australia according to the Code of Practice (see link) with the need to do

on-going professional courses.

· I have many ceremonies for you to choose with cultural and symbolic rituals available - with the inclusion of children.

· Consideration given to special themes, activities, venues and locations.

· I can assistance with fiancé Visa applications & Certifying documentation (JP).
